Thief. This vessel of the Corvette class was again another major breakthrough in Warfare technology. It was deemed that instead of merely destroying an enemy, crippling them by taking their fleets from them was much more effective, thus the first Tractor Beam was developed. This technology was integrated into the new craft, and only on its initial testing were design flows spotted. Due to the enormous power surge created by the force generator, no additional armourments could be fitted making the ship extremely open to attack with no means of protecting itself, thus it was deemed that the craft only be sent out as part of a mixed fleet. Shielding was added to combat this problem, but this again only served to slow the ship down somewhat, and made 'acquiring' victims only possible from short range. On the plus side though, its powerful EMP surge detectors allow it to get in close to other craft, especially those in its own class.
