The times have been long, sometimes dark, but always determined. Much has changed with the passing of rounds .. new technology, a new Universe, a new game … but the Lemming flags fly again.

Pinpoints of light speckle the celestial maps, planets in a flurry of activity as the furry hordes prepare their steel pyjamas for the coming storm… brave soldiers cuddling their brothers and sisters as they are ready for the dives that they know will come.

The commanders walk proud … new faces, old faces .. some scarred by battles gone, legendary in their fervour. But there will be new battles to face, new enemies to depose, and new scars to be won.

The wind whistles across the mountain top, short cropped fur bristling across tightly knit pyjamas of steel. The troops are brave, ready to face whatever is needed. The new leader turns to his commanders. A wave of lemming bodies crowd the cliff top awaiting their command.

“By the valiant honour of our mighty Leto .. I honour those who stood before me .. we are not gone, we are not forgotten, and we will jump again .. hirr forever!”

After a few minutes the clifftop was empty as the last lemming was seen hurtling down the cliff side. Some say they heard him shout a war cry .. “Gonads and Strife” ?? .. but those are just rumours. Just a few whispers of fur remained of the army that stood. A small banner stood whisping in the wind and came to rest on the ground … the wording just visible
