Experience Points (XP) are a major factor in determining Score. (Score is determined by the following formula: XP times 60, plus Value.) XP was introduced with [PAX].
Essentially, you gain XP based on how active of a player you are. Here's where XP comes from-
- Capturing asteroids (The amount of XP you gain from this is determined by 'bravery factor', the target's value in relation to yours)
- Running covert operations
- Doing scans.
