Race

From round 6 and onwards, there have been four different races in Planetarion, that the player can choose from at the beginning of the round. These have been:

Cathaar

Most Cathaar ships freeze the opponent's ships rather than destroy them, and generally have a slightly higher efficiency due to this.

Xandathrii

It is impossible to Fleet Scan a Xandathrii player.

Zikonian

Most Zikonian ships subvert their opponent's ships rather than killing them. Prior to round 10 Zikonian ships would steal the ships permanently.
