A shorter, faster game of [[Planetarion]]. [[Tick]]s have been known to vary in length from about 1 minute to 10 minutes, and lengths of speedgame vary from hours to a week. Generally, a speedgame involves a much smaller playerbase, and takes place over a weekend, sometimes with pauses to allow players to sleep or eat. For example, in one of the three speedgames between [[Round 12]] and [[Round 13]], it was made impossible to [[Defend]] [[Planets]] other than your own.
