	Unfortunately as the round got under way it was clear that the FPM block was far superior to the opposition against it. To further this problem Elysium were playing at a lower level than the previous round and most alliances weren't initially keen on opposing FPM. [[Wolfpack]], with the majority of their members in FPM galaxies, [[NAP]]ed Phraktos, and unofficially the whole of FPM by extension. Despite determined opposition from in places within the first 3 weeks of the round almost all major hostile galaxies had been taken out by FPM. [[LCH]] merged with [[Howling Rain]] to form the FYTFO tag in an attempt to keep up activity but FPM soon dominated the top ranks. [[NewDawn]] stepped in at this point and with a few other alliances attempted to halt FPM's momentum but militarily they were not equal to the task. A number of their biggest planets joined Phraktos in order to protect themselves and stagnation set in across the universe. Attempting to break this and seize the #1 ranking for themselves, ahead of FAnG who held it at that time, Phraktos declared war on FAnG with less than two weeks left in the round. This was nothing short of an unmitigated disaster. Large planets who had left FM to join Phraktos quit after being roided while out of tag, massive amounts of incoming went uncovered and Phraktos' roid losses were immense within a couple of days of the declaration of war. With a lack of DCs, and HCs going inactive, the members left Phraktos in droves and they plummetted down the alliance rankings. FAnG claimed a clear victory in the end, with their allies MISTU finishing in second place. The #1 planet was Sn0w of FAnG and the #1 gal was a FAnG/MISTU galaxy. 	One noteworthy event that occurred towards the end of this round was the highest ranking non-FPM planet revealing himself to be [[Synthetic_Sid]], who belittled the block for being unable to take him out and [[An_Anouncement_And_a_Proposal\|threw down a challenge]] to the community to play a round without blocks. Despite the catastrophic events at the end of [[Round 10]] [[FAnG]] reorganised themselves and gathering allies in [[MISTU]], a former [[BG]] within Eclipse, and [[Phraktos]], newly formed, primarily from the [[Dragons]] memberbase after they decided not to continue into r10.5 as a full alliance, formed [[FPM]] and prepared to fight the [[EET]] [[block]] going into this round. However with Eclipse and ToT both departing from the game Elysium were left isolated.
