Djbass:

A prior member of PACrew during the early rounds of Planetarion that assumed a number of duties in that time. Some of these duties included: channel op for #planetarion, multihunter and board admin for related area, columnist on the short lived 'vortal', self appointed Planetarion historian.

These days he can found lurking in the Planetarion: General Discussion forum under the alias of djbass (clever I know).

== History ==

From day one [[Planetarion]] already had a strong community including a series of '''#Planetarion''' channels spread across most of the well known IRC networks. It was on Dalnet however that the first official '''#Planetarion''' sprang to life. The channel was owned and operated by Mysternal.

Regulars to this channel were only all too familier with Dalnet's uncanny habit of netsplitting several times a day. Five fun-filled months were endured by the channel's inhabitants before '''#Planetarion''' finally established a network of its own on the 2nd July 2000, later to be dubbed '''PANet'''.

Sometime around the 19th July 2002 the Planetarion IRC network changed its scope to encompass all games and not just [[Planetarion]] under which it adopted the new title of [[NetGamers]].

[[User:Idimmu]] has suggested that we move all alliance pages to their corresponding Category pages and leave redirects in the original page (so that [[BlueTuba]] just redirects to [[:Category:BlueTuba]] and the content is there).

[[User:Banned]] would prefer that the alliance categories are made, but that the alliance articles remain in their current place. Voting will remain open until Tuesday 18/01/05 midnight.
