Round 27 will be a FREE round. All accounts will have the full benefits of a standard paid account.

Round 27 signups will open at 19:00 GMT on Friday, 30th May. Ticks will start on Friday, 6th June and last for 7 weeks.

The main features will be as last round:
* Buddy packs will be limited to 4, with 2 late signups able to join after tick 336. Buddy packs of 2 will be combined to make buddy pack groups of 4 when the shuffle occurs.
* Alliance limits will be kept at 75, with 60 members counting towards the limit as before.
* Ship stats will be based on Round 26, with some modifications.

Other changes include:
* Production system overhaul to allow partial canceling and to not penalise for adding to orders after they've been placed
* Planet scans show a basic overview of the resources in production
* Alliance name reservation system implemented
* Lots of minor functional and non functional bugfixes, including the renaming of some pages

We'll be looking to open the beta to the public on Monday, 26th of May, with signups starting around 12:00 GMT and ticks starting at 18:00 GMT.

== Description ==
Hidden Agenda is a alliance that focuses on new and returning players. They consider themselves a training alliance and are open to both paid and unpaid planets.
They employ a set of private tools including a bot accessible through both IRC and a private website. The bot handles defense calls and scan requests and has a couple of other functions including some with pure comic value.

Hidden Agenda has been playing uninterrupted since it was founded halfway into round 12.

== Neutrality ==
Hidden Agenda tries to maintain a sense of neutrality. They usually evade affiliations with top 10 alliances and prefer not to be dragged into wars. An affiliation with TGV in Round 22 is the only known exception. Affiliations and even mergers with minor alliances are more frequent.

We would like to announce the following changes for Round 26:

Buddy Packs will be reduced from 5 to 4 players.
Galaxies will consist of 1 buddy pack of 4 or 3, or two packs of 2.

However, 2 new signups can be invited to join the galaxy at tick 336, instead of 1 as in Round 25.

Alliance limits will be increased to 75 and the support planet rule will be in effect.

The major change this round regards the in-game alliance defence system. It is now possible to report an incoming on overview or gal status by clicking a link beside the incoming to report it. It will then automatically get added to the in-game alliance page. The in-game alliance defence page has been improved to automatically detect the latest scans of the hostile planets (similar to the alliance attack page), and to also auto-detect the (pre)launched fleets at the same ETA as the incoming hostile fleet. It's possible to change the status to one of a variety, and there's a notes section.

We are going to have a Creators Hour in #planetarion on Netgamers on Wednesday, 12th March at 20:00 GMT, where we can answer questions about the coming round.

==Competitor Alliances==

New boys [[Denial]] and [[NoX]] crushed [[NewDawn]] and [[Jenova]] in an early war, and ND's attempts to work with other alliances were rebuffed; leading to a period of stagnation in which DeNoX dominated.

During the last half of the round, [[Ascendancy]], playing under the tag [[STOOMTHEREVIVAL]] stormed from rank 7 to rank 1. A combination of going all-zik, crashing fewer fleets and assistance from [[Jenova]], [[NewDawn]], [[Conspiracy]] and [[Tides of Fire]] "evened" the competition and allowed them to move into first.

== Description ==
Hidden Agenda is a alliance that focuses on new and returning players. They consider themselves a training alliance and are open to both paid and unpaid planets.
They employ a set of private tools including a bot accessible through both IRC and a private website. The bot handles defense calls and scan requests and has a couple of other functions including some with pure comic value.

Hidden Agenda has been playing uninterrupted since it was founded halfway into round 12.

== Neutrality ==
Hidden Agenda tries to maintain a sense of neutrality. They usually evade affiliations with top 10 alliances and prefer not to be dragged into wars. An affiliation with TGV in Round 22 is the only known exception. Affiliations and even mergers with minor alliances are more frequent.
